Anyone who knows me and Rick, knows that a lot of our lives revolve around our love of food. So naturally when my mom and dad were here visiting for the past 6 weeks (minus a few days in Southern Utah) we HAD to intoduce them to our favorite barbeque joint in Old Town Temecula. Now I discovered this restaurant a couple of years ago, but for some reason, Rick didn't enjoy it the first time. He has since made up for lost time and now introduces everyone he can to Sweet Lumpy's.
Two days after my parents arrived, we were off to share this wonderful food with them and they fell in love instantly! So before we left for Spring vacation in Utah, my mom wanted to go back again - thinking they were going to be heading back to Illinois. Well, they decided to visit my dad's family in Hurricane and then return to our house since I had been so sick and wasn't able to get the projects done that I was hoping to. Needless to say, we HAD to head back to Lumpy's again since it had been almost 2 weeks from the last visit. This time I was smart enough to bring my camera so I could capture the moment. The only problem was that I was too busy enjoying my food to take a picture of the amazing smoked brisket. I guess that means we need to make another visit in the near future so that I can make everyone drool!!!
Note to all family and friends that come to visit - plan on a trip to Old Town to feast on the best barbeque in town!!!

WiFi is available at Motel 6 in Elk River, Oklahoma! So, I got to see your latest-and-greatest! And, now I'm totally hungry for Sweet Lumpy's BBQ brisket. What "sweet" memories!!!
Can't wait until July when we can go to Sweet Lumpys with your family. I think I can already taste it!
