Go Angels!

We spent a wonderful Friday evening with our family, Dee, and Erin's friend, Eric at a come-from-behind amazing victory at Angel Stadium! We always enjoy every minute, from the moment we load up the van to the time we pull into our garage.

This trip we were entertained by Erin and Eric doing a dance to some song they called "their EFY song".

We found a litte bit of shade and enjoyed our Mo's bowls - yum!

Lately, Rick has been asking me to take pictures of the sky and I must admit, it looked amazing over the stadium!

Everyone stood up as the Angels rallied in the 7th inning and scored 7 runs!

I went with Rick to say hi to one of his co-workers in the 8th inning and he pointed us to some empty seats in the first row behind the A's dugout. We enjoyed another great Angel inning from those seats before returning to the outfield.

Chone Figgins has had a great year, but this was an unsuccessful bunt attempt.

After the game, we rushed to our van to watch the Big Bang Friday fireworks. They sure put on a fantastic show!

As soon as the fireworks ended, we hopped in the van and beat the rush out of the parking lot. We drove home listening to the Angels postgame show on AM 830, which is another tradition of ours. When I looked into the back seat, Bryant was on his phone. He had decided to call in and ask about one of the catchers, Jeff Mathis. We were surprised when he got through and said something like "Hi Terry, I'm a first time caller and was wondering um, what you think about um, Jeff Mathis' performance tonight......" (Jeff Mathis is having a fairly terrible season at bat - he struck out 4 times during this game). It was pretty cool to listen to the radio and hear Bryant's voice followed by the answer. Bryant was embarrased at his stuttering, but hey, he's only 13 and it was his first time on the radio! Rick and I were very impressed with his first on-air experience!
