Misc. moments

Other than soccer, we haven't had much going on this past month, but I have taken some pictures here and there that don't warrant their own blog entry. Here are some random moments:

Parker received his 3rd Promising Author award! His teacher told me that he has been doing the best writing he's seen in years - way to go Parker!

After receiving his award, Rick and I wanted to take Parker out of school a few minutes early so that he could go to Bryant's school soccer game. Parker had other plans..........he didn't want to miss out on extra playground time. Oh, to be a kid again!

Rick and I went to Chaparral's first ever "Take Your Parent to School Day" (or what we jokingly called "Mormon Parent Day" since their were MANY church parents in attendance). It was an interesting day, to say the least. We were glad that Erin wanted us there and at the same time, we're glad we don't have to go again for a while - high school is HARD!

In Erin's choir class, Desiree sang with the choir while the rest of us parents just enjoyed listening to the kids songs - they're pretty darn good!

Parker had to decorate a cake for his Blue and Gold Dinner. We were so crammed for time, that we had to come up with something super easy. I think it turned out great!
