Parker's 10th birthday

This year was Parker's "Golden" birthday and we made sure to make it a special day for him. We started with a yummy pancake breakfast and then sent him off to school.

It was the monthly awards ceremony on his birthday and it couldn't have worked out better for Parker. He started off by getting a student of the month award for getting a 100% on his district reading final. Then he got both the regular honor roll and the Principal's honor roll awards. The Principal's honor roll is for students who have made the honor roll all year long. Way to go Mr. Smartee Pants!

Since Parker loves baseball so much, he decided to have his birthday party at the Storm game. He was only allowed to take as many friends as we had seats available in the van (that's a great way to limit the size of the party!). The boys all came to our house where we had cake and opened presents before loading up to go to the game.

Bryant's friend, Jacob, got one of the players to give him a cracked bat after the game, and he passed it on to Parker.
