We have a 17 year old!

Today was extremely hectic, but we managed to make a celebration for Erin's 17th birthday by stealing little moments here and there. I stole some extra time with Erin by pulling her out of a class so that I could take her to lunch. It was our first trip to Lazy Dog and it's now one of our favorite yummy places to eat.
Erin wasn't able to come home after school due to a rehearsal for her choir concert, but we were able to meet her across the street at EZ Take-out Burger for a quick dinner (not nearly as yummy as lunch). During dinner, Erin opened her presents which included a new camera so that she can take awesome pictures during her senior year. Rick took pictures during dinner with his camera phone, but we couldn't load them on the computer for some reason - bummer.

After dinner, we headed to the high school to watch the concert. All the choirs did an amazing job and Erin rocked her solo!

Erin's best friends, Brianne and William, came to the concert and then joined us at our favorite dessert spot, The Yogurt Factory.

Once we returned home from the crazy busy day, Erin had to stay up until the wee hours of the morning finishing her project for AP English - the birthday fun was definitely over.
