Merry Christmas!!

Well, Christmas day has come and gone but the fun at the Chase home is just beginning! The kids had a great time opening all their presents and shrieked many times - boy are they spoiled! The biggest presents were obviously all Wii related. I wonder how long it takes to master Guitar Hero and Dance, Dance Revolution? Some highlights of our gifts were the Wii & the games that go with it, the ring Rick bought me (my first blue box), the T.V. for "us", Bryant's suit that he's wanted for a LONG time, Parker's Wandmaker's Guide Book, Erin's girl things - there are too many to list, and Rick's tickets see the show "Blast".

After an exhausting morning (Rick and I were exhausted after only getting 5 hours of sleep - so much for children appreciating sleep), we watched a movie on the new T.V. and then went to the movie theatre with the Rock family to see "National Treasure" which we all loved. Everyone came back to our house to play the Wii and visit. We all made Mii's (our own characters that we can use to play the sport games) and the kids played the sports games and then Guitar Hero III.

It has been a tiring month for me but so rewarding at the same time. We have been blessed with so much in our family. We have great friends and family to enjoy holidays with and we are fortunate to be able to give gifts to those we love. I have truely enjoyed giving this season - it really is better than receiving.
