A laid back 4th of July

After a VERY busy few weeks, our family decided to take it easy on the 4th of July. We started the day off with a breakfast at the park with some families from church. Rick and I then spent a couple of hours shopping for gear for our camping trip before heading home to barbecue for dinner. In the late evening, we went up behind our house just in time to watch the fireworks with our friends and neighbors. What a great, relaxing 4th of July for us!

The boys decided to play tennis with Emmett and Nathan before the fireworks.

Emmett and Parker figured out a way to retrieve the balls without having to go around the back side of the tennis court.

After the fireworks, we came home to use our sparklers and roast smores - YUM!
