Parker's Raingutter Regatta

Cub Scouts always love it when model building & racing time comes around. This year, the leaders chose to have the boys do the Raingutter Regatta. Parker had the kit for his boat for at least a month and a half, but we put off making it until the very last day. With Rick out of town, Parker was stuck with having to solicit help from his mom instead. So I pulled out the sander, paints, and glue, and we got to work. All things considered, Parker's Tubular Torpedo turned out great!

Parker won his first few races and went on to place 3rd among the Webelos - not bad for a last minute boat!
