Zion's Narrows - the best hike EVER!

As we planned our Zion trip, we were the most excited to be able to hike the Narrows. We spent hours looking for the right shoes, hiking poles, and a waterproof container so that we would be well prepared for the hike. Our preparations paid off and we had a fabulous time hiking the Narrows!

We took tons of pictures and here are some of the highlights:

All geared up and ready to go!

Bryant as he entered the water

The beginning of the hike in the shallow water.

We tried to get a good family picture, but this was about as good as it got - a bit over-exposed.
Parker was the first to find a pot hole and was in all the way to his shoulders.

The entire hike was BEAUTIFUL!

We loved the texture of the narrow canyon walls
Me and the kids hiking back through the canyon. The pack that I carried made me look 50 pounds heavier in my behind.

Bryant refused to smile for pictures

On the way back, Rick found a deep spot and made sure to dunk in and get a bit of a bath.
Parker got the wettest of us all

We had such a great time on this hike that part way through it Parker asked "Can we hike this again tomorrow and the next day?".
