Bryant was so excited when he made the school soccer team. Over 50 students, both girls and boys, tried out and there were lots of really good players. Last week was the first game and it was very different from his normal recreations league games. The players are soooo good - and BIG! At least there's one other player on the team that's about Bryant's size. Anyway, Bryant was playing against a boy that was 2 heads taller than he was and super fast. He tried his best, but it was pretty hard to keep up with him. Our team lost 0-1, but they sure played their hearts out.
I couldn't believe that our school had cheerleaders at the game! They don't have uniforms, but they did a great job pumping up the crowd.
By the end of the game, we could hardly see the other side of the field. With the sun going down, the temperature dropped, too. My toes were frozen!
