The last Saturday that my parents were here we went to Laguna Beach. It was a beautiful day for a picnic and relaxing on the beach. Parker was the only child home (Erin had to work - so sad, and Bryant was in Utah) so he brought his friend, Josh, with us.
Rick brought the kite and since the wind wasn't super strong, Parker ran up and down the beach over and over to keep it flying high. It was a pretty good work out for him.
One of the boys favorite things to do is play Over the Line (a baseball game that requires at least 5 people). We took my dad and Emmett and the boys and men spent a couple fun hours at the park.
Since our Disneyland passes will be blocked out pretty much the rest of the time until they expire, I took the kids one last time. We got a special preview of the Little Mermaid ride. It was like Small World (the scenery) and The Haunted Mansion (the cars you rode in). I thought it was pretty cute!
Rick was able to take my Dad and meet Bobby and Shannon at an Angel game. It was my Dad's first time at a professional game of any kind. They had great seats and the Angels won!
Parker's baseball season wrapped up with a party at his coach's house. The team played a game of baseball, enjoyed the bounce house, had ping pong competitions, and just goofed around.
Parker and his coach got along really well - they are like minds ;)
