Parker invited a few friends to spend the day with him. They kept themselves entertained at our house with games and sports until we took them to Cici's Pizza down the street. The boys were mostly interested in the desserts and the game room where they had a air hockey tournament.
Parker "caught" this in the game room. He ended up catching one more and giving one to his cousin, Shannon.
After pizza it was time to swim. The boys had so much fun that we ended up staying an hour later than I had told the parents we would.
Parker chose Sweet Lumpy's (we can never go there too many times) for his birthday dinner - mainly so he could have ribs.
He entertained himself with his straw.......hmmm
After dinner, Parker played with some of his presents in the garage. He showed off his tricks on his new scooter and skateboard.
Sunday morning, bright and early, our family and friends met us at the church where Parker received the Aaronic Priesthood. These are the men who participated in the ordination.
Parker was then able to pass the sacrament for the first time and he did a great job! He even got to sit on the stand next to Rick after he was finished.
