A better trip to the beach

After last week, I was hesitant to return to the beach, but when the Reids arrived and the temperature soared, I desided to give it another try. This time it was the perfect weather - warm enough to want to be in the water without being too hot. The waves were big and the current strong, but Bryant, Rick, and Dave were able to get some good rides in. Parker spent more time in the sand than the water, but still had a great time.
We bought a "real" shovel so that the boys could dig some serious holes. Maybe they'll finally dig all the way to China.

Bryant always loves to spend time with Rick and was so excited to be able to boggie board with him.

Parker was really patient with Natalie while she spent most of her time filling the whole rather than digging it - but how can you get mad at such a cute little girl?!

We left the beach this time without feeling frustrated and without a ticket!!!
